FOX Bet Overview

FOX Bet appeared in 2019 after major TV network FOX Sports bought a stake in The Stars Group. The new FOX Bet mobile and online sportsbook is actually a rebrand of the existing BetStars. You can access many of the same sports betting markets and regular promotions.

In 2024, FOX Bet is available in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, but the company could roll out in other US states over the coming years. In New Jersey, it operates in partnership with Resorts Casino Atlantic City. In Pennsylvania, the app operates in conjunction with Mount Airy Casino.

Bonuses and Promotions at FOX Bet

Let’s start our FOX Bet review with a look at the welcome bonuses. There are currently two bonus offers for new signups. The biggest is a 100% deposit match worth up to $100. The rollover requirement is just 1x, and you will have to cover games with odds of -200 or greater.

The second welcome bonus is a $20 Free Cash offer with “no red tape”. You must use your $20 free bets on odds of -200 or greater, and roll over the bonus amount 1x before withdrawing.

FOX Bet Available Sports

You’ll find a great range of sports and markets to bet on at FOX Bet. Our team found the overall choice comparable with other sportsbooks in PA and NJ.

Choose from baseball, basketball, or football, and bet on futures markets or the night’s games. The mobile app and desktop client also list ‘Trending Bet’s’ showing where the big money is going that day.

At the time of our FOX Bet review, we found in-play betting (‘In-Game’) on everything from tennis and basketball to soccer, volleyball, and cricket. You can also bet on all US sports, including college games (if held outside your state). Markets cover all moneyline, spread, and total points, as well as game props and player props.

FOX Bet also lets you cash out on selected markets. Cash out is available for both futures/pre-event markets and in-play/in-game.

FOX Bet Average Sports Odds

FOX Bet is competitive in its range of markets and odds. On a typical NBA game, Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers for example, we found moneyline prices of -133 to +110. That compared well to the -150 / +140 offered elsewhere.

Odds are significantly enhanced at FOX Bet with ‘bet boosts’ too. We found plenty of value by backing the underdog in selected soccer bet boosts. We found prices of +230 upgraded to +260, and +350 upgraded to +400.

Deposits and Withdrawals at FOX Bet

You can make deposits from $10 in your PA or NJ account through FOX Bet’s desktop or mobile apps. There are around half a dozen deposit options available, including VISA, MasterCard, Skrill, and PayPal. You can also deposit funds in person at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City or Mount Airy Casino in PA.

FOX Bet lets you make ‘fast deposits’ on the desktop site when using Skrill, VISA or MasterCard. This service is only available for Skrill on the mobile app. Fast deposit lets you fund your account without having to leave the betting page.

You can also use Stars Transfer to move funds directly from your online checking account. The service is free, and you can transfer cash online or through the FOX Bet mobile app.

Withdrawal options at FOX Bet are more limited but our FOX Bet review did find handful of cashout methods.

Skrill and PayPal are the fastest options and are processed immediately, but the ACH/e-Check method can take up to 10 business days. You can also request a paper check if you don’t mind waiting a few weeks. Stars Transfer withdrawals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania take up to 4 working days.

Mobile Compatibility

You can now download a native FOX Bet mobile app for iOS and Android devices. The app is available whether you live in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

If you enjoyed BetStars’ software, you’ll like FOX Bet too. The app is virtually identical and has many of the same functions including cash out and live streaming. You can also use your original BetStars or PokerStars Casino New Jersey login details if you have them.

Customer service is available at FOX Bet, but the range of options is a bit limited. At the time of our FOX Bet review, we only found an online contact form to use. There is no live chat or phone support, but we hope these appear in the future.

After completing our FOX Bet review, our team overwhelmingly loved this sportsbook. We were big fans of the original BetStars platform, and it’s good to see that FOX Bet maintains a lot of the same functions and features.
