BetAmerica launched in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 2019, piggybacking on Golden Nugget AC’s gaming license in NJ (home to Betfair), and Presque Isle Downs & Casino’s license in Pennsylvania.

BetAmerica launched online in Indiana in 2024 following the launch of their first retail sportsbook at Rising Star Casino.

BetAmerica also has a retail presence in Mississippi at Churchill’s two casinos, Riverwalk and Harlow’s. While land-based sportsbooks are legal in Mississippi, online sports betting is still prohibited.

Available Sports at BetAmerica

The sportsbook is powered by SBTech, one of the industry leaders in online sports betting platforms. You can place wagers through the website without downloading a desktop app.

BetAmerica lets you place a bet on over a dozen sports, including NHL, MLB, and NBA. You can also place single wagers on college basketball and college football as long as one of your state team isn’t playing.

Racebook at BetAmerica

BetAmerica is one of the few legal US sports betting sites to include a racebook. The racebook is available in all qualifying states and features markets on over 400 tracks worldwide.

You can follow your favorite tracks by using the Track List function on the site. It’s also possible to filter tracks by race type (thoroughbred, harness, or greyhound).

You can also access a complete Results & Replay page, or study the form guide to pick your favorites. Apart from that, the site runs daily handicapping contests for the chance to win big prizes.

Average Sports Odds

Our BetAmerica reviewers found a range of odds and markets comparable with other legalized sportsbooks. Moneyline FT odds were pretty much in line with rival sportsbooks. For example, Colorado vs Detroit in the NHL was listed at -325 to +255 compared to -300 to +225 at two major NJ sites.

Futures markets were comparable also, but there isn’t a great deal of value in the soccer and tennis markets. 

Casino Bonuses and Promotions

You can earn a BetAmerica bonus as a new player signing up. Open your account and deposit at least $10 to get started. Currently, casino bonuses are only available at the New Jersey and Pennsylvania websites.

Qualifying bets are just $0.10, and the 10x wagering requirement is achievable. You’ll also have a full YEAR in which to roll over the wagering requirement.

At the time of this BetAmerica review, there were six casino developers offering games. IGT and NetEnt are the most well-known and contribute around half the slots. You will also find major US-facing developers like Everi, NextGen, Konami, and Lightning Box.

There is even a slots features tab which gives you instant access to games with free spins, volatile payouts or scatters/wilds. The only thing the BetAmerica review team would have liked to have seen was a ‘Favorites’ tab where you can store your best-loved games.

Deposits and Withdrawals

BetAmerica allows real-time payments across all its legal casinos and sportsbooks.

You can make free deposits by credit card or debit card, but acceptance rates still tend to be pretty low. Where available, VISA and MasterCard can also be used to cash out.

Our BetAmerica review experts loved the Telecheck e-Check service. It works like an ACH payment, letting you move money straight from your checking account. You can also deposit as little as $5. You can also apply for a Play+ prepaid card and deposit from $1-$2,000 in one hit.

Alternatively, you can deposit from $1-$500 in cash at your nearest PayNearMe outlet like 7-Eleven, but fees will apply. Skrill is the sole e-Wallet allowed at BetAmerica and allows deposits from $10-$9,999.
